It's close to Paris main museums ( Louvres, Orsay, etc..) and garden. Public transportations (buses and subways) are very easy to reach and can take you anywhere in the city in less than 20 minutes. Taxis are easier to find than anywhere else in Paris. You can find many supermarkets in the area which are open late at night and a market twice a week. The district is historical and beautifull to stroll around.
